2 Year Olds
Two year olds are introduced to the preschool program's circle time, cooperative play, sharing and taking turns, all in a foreign language with lots of support and reassurance. They learn to make appropriate choices in a classroom setting. Fine motor coordination is honed with drawing time, ginger play, pounding and squeezing clay, and shaking rythmn instruments. Large motor coordination is developed with fun activities like rolling, crawling, creeping, walking, running, jumping and climbing. Highly interactive story time helps the two year olds develop a love for books and reading. We encourage emerging logical reasoning by tackling shape-sorting, simple puzzles, and ring stacking. Basic math concepts are introduced with numbers one and two. Ball time helps with hand eye coordination. Music time helps our two year olds gain control over their voices.
