¡HolaKids! teachers' commitment goes far beyond teaching a new language, as they are focused on preparing our young children to thrive in a classroom setting, develop curiosity about their world, and start on a path to becoming life-long learners. Our teachers take great pride in sharing their culture and heritage, because they recognize that learning a language is incomplete without the joy and appreciation for cultural traditions. Their contributions and teamwork are invaluable to the experience for the young students at ¡HolaKids!.

Our Story |
Back in 2002, the Donohue family was heading out for their first day's adventure in Spain. Their two young children were dragging their feet, not wanting to get ready for the day. A family meeting was called, and suddenly, in a flood of emotion, the children admitted they did not want to go out at all, for fear of not speaking the language. When Amory Donohue returned home from the family trip, she was determined to find a Spanish program for her children. ¡HolaKids! was started in 2003 because few preschool classes offered language immersion, a commitment to cultural traditions, and an outstanding early childhood development curriculum.
In addition to foreign language programs for preschoolers, Amory is deeply interested in developmental education, different learning styles, social-emotional curriculum, and the integration of best educational practices in the immersion classroom. She is committed to finding dedicated teachers, predominantly native-speakers, and creating an environment for teaching success and professional development. The team includes experienced teachers who mentors teachers-in-training with the ¡HolaKids! philosophy and methodology. We pride ourselves on launching dozens of teaching careers since our program was founded.
