We welcome parents to share a special talent with the class, chaperone on field trips, organize a casual weekend gathering at a local playground and/or wash hand towels and field trip shirts. We do hope that you can mark your calendars ahead of time to participate with your child on our special classroom events, cultural celebrations and parent teacher conferences. We typically have a potluck for these events.

Do you offer tuition assistance? Not directly - we work with parents who secure support through both the San Francisco and Marin Child Care Councils.

May I bring my child(ren) on the tour? We ask that parents do not bring children on tours due to limited space. We do welcome babies held in carriers. Strollers in the classroom are difficult to navigate.
What preparations are there for the transition to preschool? Once a family enrolls, parents meet with the Team Leader to discuss an individual transition plan for their child. We plan a New Family Open House for families to get acquainted with the teachers and classroom before school begins. During mid-year enrollment, we have an individualized classroom visit for the family and student.
How do you discipline children? ¡HolaKids! philosophy of discipline is one of positive guidance. We believe that each ¡HolaKids! teacher has a responsibility to gently guide children toward appropriate behaviors.
