Admissions Process
We want to make sure you fall in love with ¡HolaKids! for all the right reasons!

We are a year round school. Our main admissions process is earlier than many Bay Area Schools because our start date is in July (not September). However, some families may not be able to start until September since we allow graduating preschoolers to attend the summer before they leave for Kindergarten.

Here are your four steps to admissions!
Step 1: RESEARCH
Making a commitment to a preschool is not only based on philosophy, location, and curriculum but also financial and holiday schedule considerations. We are transparent with this information so that you can make the best decision for your family. 
Step 2: ATTEND A ZOOM INFORMATION SESSION                    
We ask that all families first attend a Zoom orientation. We cover so much of what makes ¡HolaKids! unique during this session — and it truly makes a difference in how you experience the tour. It also allows us to keep our visits brief and non-disruptive, since we know families are busy and we never want to take away from our children's learning.
Step 3: TOUR OUR CAMPUSES                  
​ ​Once you understand our approach, visiting campus becomes an "aha!" moment. You'll see our methodology come alive and can envision your child thriving in our community.

We encourage families to consider touring several of our campuses. With limited enrollment, spots fill quickly — and starting at another campus is a great way to secure your place in the ¡HolaKids! family. Once enrolled, you'll have priority to transfer to your preferred campus when a spot opens up. And many families are pleasantly surprised to find there's a ¡HolaKids! right along their commute to work!Schedule a tour of all of the campuses that interest you.
​Step 4: Ready to Apply
We encourage families to apply for each child on a separate application form — this ensures no one slips through the cracks. The good news? There is no additional application fee for siblings. A completed application requires a one-time, non-refundable $90 application fee per family, and you may apply to multiple campus locations on a single application. Payment is made easily through our Stripe payment link, where you'll also select your preferred payment method. Once we receive your application and fee, we'll send you a confirmation letting you know your child has been added to our waitlist.
Step 5: FOLLOW UP 
You may still have questions after your tour and we are always happy to answer any questions that you might have. Do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to help you make this very important decision.

​​We want parents to be well informed before being offered a spot as our enrollment procedures offer 48 hours to accept before we proceed to the following family on the waitlist.

We do not have a set date for sending out admission decisions as we process enrollments on a rolling basis. In January, the priority enrollment period for currently enrolled students, siblings and transfer students closes. At that point, we go to our wait list filling available spots one by one as parents select their schedule and we balance the mix of gender and ages. Due to these variable factors, we are unable to provide an exact number for where a family stands on our wait list.
